Pendragon is a 53ft Cruiser stern style narrowboat built originally as a 50ft N.B. by Fenmatch in 1990 but extended to 53ft by Colecraft in 1993. She is powered by a Lister TS3 31hp diesel engine.

The boat comes equipped for living aboard or all year round cruising. It comes with a Bosch washing machine, a 12v fridge and a stove with a back burner providing central heating to the bathroom and bedroom radiators.

Gas – 2 x 13kg Propane cylinders with manual change-over, housed in stern lockers providing gas to the Morco instant hot water heater, oven, grill and hob

Water – 680 litre steel water tank under the bow well deck. The water pump with pressure switch and accumulator is housed below the front door. Water is heated by a Morco gas fired instant water heater.

Heating – heating is provided by a solid fuel stove in the lounge with back boiler running one normal radiator in the bedroom, one rail radiator in the shower room and pipes in vented skirting in the lounge.

Engine & transmission
The boat is powered by a Lister TS3, 3 cylinder, 31hp marine diesel engine coupled to a Newage PRM gearbox with 2:1 reduction turning the propeller. The exhaust is lagged, silenced and vents out from under the side deck. The engine powers a 12v alternator to charge the start and four leisure batteries.
From the Bow
From the bow there is a 4’ 7” self draining well deck with steel cratch frame. The bow cratch cover has a window to the front and a zipped and studded covering. The water tank is located beneath the well deck with a surface mounted filler. The well deck has wooden locker/seating on either side. The bow currently contains a Zanussi tumble dryer

4 large windows with hopper style opening vents
4 12v brass wall lamps with glass shades

Heating is by a solid fuel stove with back boiler mounted on a quarry tiled hearth with a ceramic tiled surround. Pipes from the back boiler run the full length of the room in vented skirting.

Power is via 4 x 240v sockets

The galley has Shaker style fitted units with Beech effect doors and ceramic tiled worktops.

Shower Room and Toilet
The walk through shower room has a white suite consisting of:
Vanity unit with porcelain inset wash basin,
chrome taps and large cupboard with Beech effect doors.
Large shower tray with thermostatic controlled mixer shower.
Traveller pump out toilet with holding tank beneath.

Lighting is provided by a skylight with roof vent
1 x 12v ceiling mounted round light.
Heating is provided by a rail radiator.

Aft Bedroom
Furniture consists of:
6’ 4” x 4’ fixed double bed with storage drawers in base
Full height double wardrobe with storage area behind

Lighting is via 2 large windows with hopper style opening vents. 2 x small windows with hopper style opening vents. 2 x 12v halogen down lights.

Heating is provided by a central heating radiator.

Cruiser Deck and Stern
Storage steps from the bedroom and a steel rear door with steel sliding hatch leads onto a spacious cruiser deck. The engine, batteries and fuel tank are housed under the floor panelling. The cruiser deck has a steel Taff rail with wind break around the stern. There are steel gas lockers on either side of the cruiser deck and there is a cover for the rear deck which can remain in place during cruising.
Controls are via a column mounted single lever engine control which is located on the port side.

General Fixtures and Fittings
Cabin sides and ceilings are lined in Pine tongue and grove, trimmed with solid Pine. Hull sides are lined in 10mm Marine ply which has been painted. Doors and fixed furniture have been constructed with Beech faced MDF. Interior wood has been varnished to satin finish. Widows are fitted with curtains with a blind over the Galley window. Flooring throughout is Beech effect laminate.
